With progression on the path of Devi, you will come to a point where Devi is not just external but also internal to you. You yourself are an embodiment of Devi, irrespective of your gender.
In men, some of the testosterone converts to estrogen. Devi resides within this.
At a certain level, you will realize that you are not merely a man; you are both.
The physical beings around you remain attached to their body and mind. That is why they are unable to see this truth. But as a spiritual being, you are neither body nor mind. You are an embodiment of Shiva and Shakti.
You are the embodiment of both the divine feminine and the masculine.
The depth of Devi Sadhana lies in the exploration of the divine feminine within you.
To the external world, you may appear as a man, but internally you must begin to see the world through the eyes of a woman. The whole world is Devi, and it is the Devi within you who is interacting with the world.
With the increasing Shakti Tattva within a man, his waning Shiva Tattva will also begin to align, for Shiva is always madly running behind Shakti.
The state of balance between these two aspects brings an extreme sense of tranquility within oneself, and the one who has balanced both is no less than a Deva.
