Maa Aadya Kali The Source of All Warriors
In my Nascent Findings of Maa Kali, I always looked at Maa through the eyes of childish love seeking bhakta wanting her love and attention. Thus it made me curious on how and why Maa Kali is ferocious and became the beloved of the Warrior Kulas. Thus is She named Kulapujita: the power worshiped across kulas
Warrior spirit enculcates undying resilience and strong will to fight and fight till victory. For I foraged for love never did I meander on this side of spirit. Unaware of the Both tatva of Baba Bhairav and Maa Aadya kali. Made me think , what had made Warriors worship them, keep them as guardians of their bloodline.
The Will to Die
“The will to die” In the year 1592, The Imjin War commenced over the Korean Peninsula, where Japanese forces decimated all Korean Army , abridging Joseon rule almost mon existent. From the Meek light of Hope, Admiral Yi shun shin changed the tide of the war, for he promised his Motherland ( Maa Kali in the form of Bhumi) to avange and relieve her from the Japanese atrocity.
Such was his fate , with just mere 15 ships he had to fight 320 strong Japanese navy at the strait of Myoengyang. For he proclaimed “ If you will to live you will die , if you will to die , you will live forever”. The will to fight and to be not fearful is the Bhairava tattva which shows the Path of Shakti. To fight despite the situation and face the problems that are in front of you.
Admiral Yi , eventually won that historical battle , ending the Japanese hold of Korea, and for nearly 2 centuries Japan dared not to venture into Korea. Maa kali thus ensured his Name live on for Generations to come.
As for Maa, she loves the Veera who fight and die for her.
“For the Dharma , for the Devi"
Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj endeavour and captured key points of Deccan Fortresses. To dislodge him from his pontiffs the Bijapur sultanate sent Afzal Khan to subjugate Shivaji Maharaj. Afzal went to pillage cities and town under the military campaign, desecrating temple and holy structures. He committed violence on Children and women throughout his campaign. Hurting the old age , children and women was against the Maratha Ethics of War. For He Challenged Maa Tulja Bhawani ( Maa kali in the form of Durga attop at Tuljapur hill) challenging her.
During the coarse of a treaty meeting at the fort of Pratapgarh, he was slain by Shivaji Maharaj by tiger claws. Chhatrapati shivaji maharaj saved Dharma in its sacred space and respected Shakti in its true form.
A Sadhaka who upholds dharma and respects Shakti in each form of the divine mother is a true Shakt.
