Jai Maa

June 3, 2025

Usually when good things happen to us, we say “Jai maa” and praise and thank her. But when bad things happen to us, we pray for relief.

We reject the bad, thinking that it's not her doing. We only think that the good is her and we praise her for it. But fail to realize that everything is her will.

Right from the worst days to the best moments of life, it is ALL her. In the path of Kalika and other digambara deities, ignoring or rejecting a part of something that happened to you is something that will not work.

Just as much as you accept and identify with your greatest, you must accept and identify with the worst.

You should not pretend to feel something that you don't feel. If you want to absolutely break down and cry, do it. But only in front of your deity. Only crib to your deity, never to a human. Just like that, even the best moments should be expressed in front of her.

Be like a child where they'll react for a few minutes and immediately be back. (Meditate on this before immediately acting)

You must be like the vajra, balanced and equal on both sides. The asuric side as well as the devta side. If you identify with only one side, you are not a vajra. It has to be a perfect balance.

Remember her at all times, the best and the worst.

Jai maa
